Hi!
Sorry for long reply,
But after doing a 50% water change, using Nitrate Resin bags to get the nitrate down to 15mg/l, the fish seem to be much happier now.
I must admit, most of the fish's gills were moving very fast, so i think, this might have been due to two things:
Not enough oxygen in the water
or
High levels of CO2, I have a C02 injecter that keeps the PH at around 7.22-7-30
I think it was due to oxygen/c02 problem.
It has been a week since I made adjustments, and the fish are fine:
GH 10
KH 6
PH 7.2-7.3
Nitrate - 15mg/l
Nitrite always zero
NH4+ Always near zero
Main Changes:
Added more water irritation at the surface to allow oxygen exchange
Set PH at 7.2 and not 6.8 to allow less c02 dissolved
Lowered nitrate from 60mg/l to 15mg/l
Here is a picture of the tank
