somebody correct me if i'm wrong, but i think those are flying foxes, not sae's. the sae's black stripe should extend all the way through to the end of the tail.
SAEs and FFs both have black stripes extending to their tails, but the FF's stripe is much darker and thicker at the tail then the SAE. I'm pretty sure thats a SAE.
ok, after looking around some more, those are not flying foxes, but i still don't think it looks like the stripe goes all the way to the end of the tail, so those are either sae's (if the stripe does continue the whole way) or false sae's.
Of the Rams, the Left, I can't tell, could be female or a young male. The Right one is definately a male. Notice he has a solid black spot on his side. A female will have blue sparkles in the black....can't see the spot well enough in the other fish?
Real pretty fish I think those are real SAE's...I've been looking at mine and comparing them to yours and they seem to have the same patterns. Do they have the little whiskers on their mouths? I couldn't tell in your pics.
If I had an extra tank I'd love to get some platies..they have such lovely colors..ohhh
