Yup, was in with africans....and GT's and convicts....stupid store. 
Anyway, I got 2 of them....and they seem like they should be ok, the bettas are not really paying any attention to them and vice versa.

It is a Apistogramma borellii "Opal". I have two in my tank, just beautiful and very peaceful fish. Borellii 'Opa'l here is a link.
