Somehow I knew that's all you would want to see after I said that And that's why I've kept it quiet because I'm not sure if I'll be able to get a clear image just yet. He needs to grow more.I also wasn't sure if maybe I was just crazy. So I asked around at my betta club this weekend and yes...there's such a thing as triple tails,who knew
It's just like a DT but in the center of the caudal another tail is there...with 8 branches. 8 double ray branches on 3 tails = 48 rays But the 3rd tail isn't as wide as the other two,very strange and even hard to see with the naked eye just yet because it lies flat against the other tails. You can only really,really tell when he swims and perks his tail a certain way. Give him some growin' time I figure I'll start taking individual beanie babie shots in a few weeks.

Ok,here's a kind of good description...it's almost like he grew both kinds of tails...
