Kitty: No, the Dad is a Steel and the mother is a Turquoise, so that's why they'll all be Royal Blue babies. But yes, if I were to breed a Royal to a Royal, I would get Turquoise/Green, Royals and Steels. I won't breed siblings from this spawn though as I just don't like how small and slow growing sibling spawns are (if you can spot the little red guys in there with them, they were from a sibling spawn and they are MUCH smaller and slow growing, yet the spawns were only 3 days apart). So I have no idea what or who I'll breed a child from this spawn with, that's too far down the road and I don't even know what I'll have then, hehe. I may try crossing back to mom or dad and see how that works growth wise, or I may pick up someone new who I really like, we'll see
Fisher: LOL, they had just eaten a live blackworm meal
I recently started them on the live worms as I finally got to the LFS to get some. They do get quite fat afterwards... I love that sight, they'll be going through a hugh growth spurt now that they're getting live worms once a day.
Unfortunately not many of the red spawn seem to be surviving, and those who are, are very small, except for a couple of them, so I don't expect many adults from that spawn...but as you can see, the Blues are doing great
And they were the spawn I was more excited about, hehe. I'll get another red spawn cooking eventually with a pair that aren't siblings. I want to try the father from my 2 red spawns again with a wonderfully colored female who comes from awesome lines, or maybe I'll put her with a child from my first red spawn, I have one from that spawn I'm keeping for breeding, so I may try him first, if he doesn't work then I'll go back to Dad (he's the best daddy ever). OK, rambling now (thinking as I type, haha).
