do you have the scientic name for them?
they look like Microrasbora erythromicron which has recently been reclassified as
danio erythromicron.

They are members of that species. I didn't know they were re-classified as danios. :blink:

Love 'em the same. :D

It's only the Microrasbora erythromicron that has been re-classified, all other micro rasboras are still microrasboras (for now) :)

Anything could happen with manic danio obsessors like The-Wolf ;)

Lovely fish - They have a type of Microrasbora in at my LFS at the moment and they are SO small. Would be great to have a massive shoal of them.

Yeah, definitely. :lol:
 
It's not that unusual for fish to be reclassified when more studie is done on one species. As the evidence is collated and analysed many of the original assumptions are disreguarded.

Reclassifiying a microrasbora to a danio is not a great leap forward, due to the fact that both are danionins (a subclass of Cyprininds)

Yeah I could go to Asia and discover The-Wolf danio :thumbs: a hugh fish that eats plecos :p
