its not quite finished yet. im planning on putting some more plants at the back.

another angle.
the neons in the bottom right hand corner have found some algae wafer intended for the bristlenose

.....is that sand as a substrate.......it looks quite yellow......where did it come from?

yeah it is. it isnt yellow. its the tannins that the wood is still releasing that make it look yellow. and its not beach sand if that is what you are thinking. i think its called river sand. its just plain sand, very fine

yeah the neons are damn annoying . they were trying to get at the algae wafer
