I've just finished prepping the tank proir to my trip. I filled a bag with cuttings!! The lights are on a timer and my neighbour's feeding the fish. She's got a tank too so she knows the score. My wife comes home next week so she'll do the water changes etc. I've virtually written an essay for her on water chemistry, pruning and co2.!!

I just hope I come back to a thriving tank. Unfortunately the wife, although intelligent (she's a dentist), has little interest in the maintenance side. She enjoys a lovely tank though but doesn't appreciate the work behind it. Women!!!
