This is some pic of my trip so bathurst to see australi's greatest car racing event. I have been going to this event ever since i was born about 17 times now..

This is the huge name title in the middle of the track.. it is made will white peddles

This is years year series champion marcus ambrose.. he started 4th and by the first corner he was first.. too good casue he is in a ford..

and his team mate russel ingle.. he started 6th and was 2nd by first corner

and here is the rest of the pack..about 36 started the race and only 15 fininshed lol
the race goes for about 6 and a half hours, thats why it is the great race

This is the car that won the race.. i wasnt happy casue it was a holden not a ford :angry:

but fords came from 2nd to 7th so thats alright

he woulda been going about 200km/h before he hit the wall

IT is of the peter brock and jason plato car..
Peter brock is one of australia;s great car racer he has one bathurst 9 times which he is the record holder and jason plato is a good english driver aswell

Dont spose you got a picture of the kangaroo being hit??

For those who didnt hear about it, team Holden's Jim Richard took out a kangaroo that jumped on to the track travelling at 120km's.... :crazy:

Poor little kangaroo :-(

I heard that Quantas (Australian Airline with the red kangaroo as an emblem) wanted to buy the footage of the kangaroo being hit for advertisement purposes.... Something about a "Flying Kangaroo" :rofl:

It sure did fly... bout 20 meters in the air!!!!

Anyways thats enough from me.... i know i shouldnt be laughin but its fairly funny! :sly:
