i really like that sand, i need to put sand in my next aquarium, which i hope will be soon... hah i see a cool little Khuli Loach on the left. do they like the sand? does he dig in it and go underneath, i never see my khuli loach, but i was lucky to see him the other day, i hadnt seen him in months before then. they are cool tho. nice tank, how many gallons is it?

they like sand because it wont tear up their snouts or noses like gravel will. he kind of sifts through it

i would personally have live plants but its what ever u prefer

i would too but i can not grow them. i do not have enough lighting nor can i afford to buy it. but i think live plants look 100 times better

I think it looks ace B) you've done a really nice job arranging it.

I know live plants aren't for everyone but you sound like you'd like some, so why not try some low light plants? I used to have major plant trouble but then i started only getting plants which were apropriate for my tank and now they're not doing too badly.

I like your tank....it has given me ideas for my 30gall....

About the plants....live plants only look good when maintained and trimemd/fertilised etc. Unfortunately I like all the high light plants which is too expensive to buy lighting for (tho christmas is coming so ya never know

). I started with live plants but all they did was vroke off all the tiome creating a lot of debris in my tank....they cam out at the same time the UGF did and my tank looks heaps better.....fake plants and all
