Ancistrus L100

Got a couple of these from TriMar last week.l Both about 3" or so in length. If I am reading the boosk correctly, this one is a male and the other (sorry no photo) is a female as it have much shorter and less complex bristles.

Mmm... I dunno m8. They all look pretty well developed to me. If they all shared and developed in the same tank there would be 1 stronger male with better bristles than the other males. Females would have tiny bristles around their mouth, if any at all.

The stuff I saw didn't mention that but it makes perfect sense. Will have to have a closer look at the other and see if I can get some photos. I know the bristles are a lot smaller than on this one, but whether they are just smaller male or female I don't know....

I didn't specifically ask for a male and a female from TriMar.
