No particular reason, they are both on the coast road beside each other, guarding (ahem) the mouth to the river. just wondering to myself what kind of useful purpose they might serve....

As always, Ken, good pictures. I agree - you ought to be ready to handle any invasion with those sorts of structures! Well, you'd probably be able to distract an invasion of lady giants, anyway.... Perhaps anyone else would just stand there and laugh?
