Wish this betta store...

I downloaded it on my computer so I wouldn't steal your bandwidth, thank you for letting me use it!

We are lucky on this forum - we have many people that truly adore their fish, and it's a great place to swap stories and info. I go to other betta forums too (like the forum I found your page on), but this board is very active and we're always pleased to have new folks to talk to and trade info with.

hi mr. chia, i know of you through the singapore betta club forum (which i am also a member of). nice to see you here ;)

Welcome to the board Chia,I certainly hope you'll stick around. So many of us have growing fry,it would be great to hear your input on different situations from time to time.

We're glad to have you!

wuv, I like that board. It's great for getting a different perspective on things, and the people seem really helpful. I'm glad youjoined over there too!

Wow that's such a cool site and such a cool store! Hehe the good thing is that this December I'm going to visit my parents in Penang Malaysia so maybe I can take a swing down to that awesome store in Singapore and tell you guys about it!

Oh and that avatar is wicked, increasing awareness is definitely the way to go! :D

Hi Turbotiber,

If you do come to Singapore and intend to visit the shop, give Rick a call before you make a trip there.

The shop is located at Sembawang Shopping Centre, which is in the northern part of Singapore, in Sembawang.

Sembawang Shopping Centre is also the new home of the Singapore *Satay Club.

*Satays are made with strips of marinated beef, chicken or mutton threaded onto bamboo skewers, grilled and served with rice cubes (ketupat), sliced cucumber, onion and delicious peanut based dipping sauce.

Edited: Rick's Business Card.

D Chia thanks for the sites! If I get a chance to go I'll definitely call Rick.

Wow that satay sounds great, the satay we get in penang is just the meat and the peanut sauce but it's still good... oh I miss the food!

Hi Turbotiber (and fellow Betta Hobbyists who intent to visit Singapore this December),

I've got good news and bad news.

Good News :)
The 4th National Betta Competition will be held from December 17th to 19th and I'm sure there'll be lots of pretty bettas to see and buy there. So, you've picked the right month. For details, visit the Betta Club Singapore (BCS) website.

Bad News :(
I've been informed that Betta Kingdom might be relocating during this period. Do make a telephone call to confirm if it is still in operation before you make a trip there.

Alternatively, you could visit Straits Aquariums, which is recognised for its expertise in breeding top notch aquarium fishes (including bettas). Straits Aquariums is a member of the IBC.

Edited: Betta Kingdom's Business Card.
