Well . . . replant I really hope this works . . .
I was so busy working on the ten gal, my work on the 5 gal became minimal . . . the fore-ground plants were doing badly enough, then the star-grass beat them out, covered them in shade and well . . . let's just say the glosso and riccia died.
I had a huge shipment of micranthemum come in-- so much of the stuff I don't know what to do with it all. I decided to use some to try and make a carpet . . . the plants had no roots though, and planting them regularly would just result in the bushy mid-ground plant version.
So, I tied them down sideways with a hair-net and stainless steal weights that I buried under the substrate. I hope they grow well . . .
Theoretically, each node should send up a new stem, and it should grow into a bushy fore-ground . . . pray with me . . .
