Hi Pointy_kitty

I'm so sorry to hear that Yoshi is not improving. :-(

We've read so many of your posts about him and looked at so many of his pictures, that all the members love him. Did you see how much he is ahead in the voting for August's POTM?

that sso sweet of you to say
i would love nothing more than for yoshi to leave this world having so many people experience the joy and love that he brings to me every day
i'm proud to have shared so many years with him

just an update
he has had a stroke
the results aren't very good
the entire left side of him is dead
he cannot move
his left eye is closed and his left side feels stiff and flat
he slips in and out of a coma like state
i pray that he slips away peacefully
he is sweating profusley

:-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-(

im so sorry to hear that PK

i hope he gets better and lives happily but if he doesnt get better i hope he goes on peacefully, and im sure he will remember what you've done for him

:-(

WOW! speak of the dead!
My pig used to look just like that!!!! her name was fyfy :)
I was 9 when i got it and it died on the 23/5/2000.
It ment the world to me... I had him for so long and was so attached to it.
Dont feel like a fool mate. I cryed for weeks... that seems pritty sad to me.
Something like that really grows on ya. And seeing it everyday day of your life for awhile, then loosing it... just feels odd and in many ways wrong!
I cant say i know how you feel... but i can tell your right now, from what you wrote down, i felt exactly the same.
Life is cruel, just gotta learn to take things on the chin ya know'
Sorry to hear that

i found him this morning
he died in the night
i have so many emotions
when i first saw him i felt relief
he never has to suffer again
but now i am filled with the deapest sadness
he's gone
my baby...
my best friend...
he ment the world to me and i couldn't even hold him in his last days
the last time i got to touch him was when he was cold, and stiff
it wasn't him at all,
just an empty vessel with his eyes
still expressing his undying love for everyone
i cannot believe i will never hear his sweet voice again
never again will he snuggle up to me in my bed on a cold night
never again will he squeek and buck and playfully pounce onto my lap
never again will he kiss my cheek and whisper softly
no more will his warm little body bring me comfort in my times of need
he is gone
and soon he will be in the ground
so far out of reach
if only he could have lived longer
4 years is not long enough
4 years is a tease

Omg that's so depressing, but i guess it has to happen to us all. But im sure passing away in his sleep was very painless and peaceful. I'm sure he doesnt regret having you as a owner either. Yoshi was in good hands for the remaining of his life. RIP lil' bud.

Aww hun I'm so sorry. At least he went peacefully and is now living large with all the other guinea pigs. You were such a great mom to him

thanks everyone
now that his things are out of my room it looks so bare (even though it is far from)
but life will go on and things will get better
or so i keep telling myself *sigh* -_-

Oh PK I'm so sorry to hear about Yoshi. :-(
I know how hard it is to lose a pet- It's like part of you goes with them.

Just know that he is in another place free of pain. I will keep you in my thoughts.
Take Care.
