Ok Answer the following question

How long did u condition the bettas?

What are u planning to feed the fry?

What size of tank do u got?

Do u got room for a grow-out tank?

Do u got room for 100+ Jars?

Are u willing to give this breeding thing a LOT of time?

U gotta give him time to make his bubblenest.....

Also it might take almost up to 1 week to spawn there just not gonna go and do it

Also I dont think people wanna flame u.... :/

ive already got everythink worked out so im not gona bother answerin all them questions cause i no ive don everythink

an this mornin i noticed my male betta has started on his bubble nest but im not puttin the female in till he has a full nest

do they need light in there tank at breedin time or keep them in bark????

thnx

With the kinds of questions you're asking, it doesn't sound like your research was thorough enough. Yes, the light should be on all the time while the father is watching the eggs and babies. It helps him to see them when they fall. And a bubble nest isn't required - my fry's daddy never built one until days after they were free swimming. However, if your male usually bubblenests and now he isn't, he may not like the female, or may need more time before breeding.

Actually if you've researched alot, then you would know a bubblenest is NOT always required. There have been many many spawns by breeders where the male never built a nest, and the eggs/fry survived fine. Snapping at the people who are going to answer your questions isn't a good way to get them to continue trying to help you. I've had spawns with hugh nests, no nests and little nest. Some the male continued on the nest after spawning and others completely neglected it.

If you've conditioned the pair for at least 2 weeks with live or frozen foods, kept the water quality perfect during this time and let the male and female see each other occassionally during this time, then the female should be fat with eggs, is she? If she is then I would release her for a little while, watch them, then assuming they don't start spawning right away (which they almost certainly wouldn't), rejar her for a couple hours, see if that gets the male interested in building a nest. Recently I tried something that worked wonders....I took the female OUT of the tank, so he couldn't see her, THEN he began the nest. After he had a nice one going I put her back in the chimney so he could see her, then released her a little while later. Some females won't bar up until they're out of the chimney (at least some of my females are like that). The important thing is to see if she's fat with eggs.

it is hard to read your replies typing in short hand. I understand misspelled words , as I do but trying to read shorthand is frustrating.

Bubble nest arent required. just let them look at each other for a few days and then release her after you think they may be ready.

Ah, it's always such a pleasure to help people who so clearly already "no" everything.

Best of luck to you. You're going to need it with that attitude.
