I thought she probably was, and the vet confirmed it today :(

For anyone who doesn't know what happened, my mum trapped my bird, Molly, in the door and squashed her head (by accident!lol) and she had badly damaged her eye.

The vet did some weird tests on her today to find out how much she can see and she can see nothing :-( Poor Molly.... Though, the eye is still a bit bruised so when that clears up she MAY regain some sight but not much...

Good news though - She can live perfectly well without the sight in one eye so as long as she has regular check ups she should be fine! :D

Here's an old picture of her - and thats her damaged eye how it used to be... Poor ickle eye... :-(

Yeah, thats what the vet says, she was a very lucky little bird!!

Hopefully she should cope ok, she seems alright at the moment so fingers crossed for her! :)

Glad to hear that Molly is going to be ok :D its great news.

She might be a bit nervous if you approach her from that side. As long as she knows your approaching she'll be fine ;)

I wish!!! Molly being nervous is an interesting concept  lol

She's just being very moody, if i approach her from that side without talking to her first she screeches at me then nips my finger (not hard, just so i know she's not happy!lol). But she seems pretty happy in herself and is coping well, so hopefully she should do fine! :)
