Well after 3 trys with this pair I finally have some fry. I did need to take dad out after a while as he was eating the eggs AGAIN! But saved alot of eggs anyway (there was a TON of eggs produced). Yesterday the eggs started hatching and this morning I have at least 125 hanging fry. The Dad is a Steel ST and the female is a Turquoise ST...so all the fry should be Royal Blue. Here are 2 pictures of the hanging fry.

Oh I forgot to add, since Dad was taken out early, there was nobody to keep the little guys in the nest, so they are hanging on the surface of the water all along the edges of the glass, all over the tank, Lol.

Linda!! They are precious  I love watching all these little babies grow and I'm especially excited to see how they do without dad, I have so many egg eaters in this house :S

Congrats Linda  Your long awaited Royal blues :hyper:

What great pics you took!

Thanks guys...they seem to be strong little fry, mostly able to keep themselves up at the surface with no help. I didn't lower the water any either, so it's half way up the 10 gallon. Hopefully that means they'll be strong throughout their lives :)

Linda
