My newly designed betta tank!

Hi all, im not sure if any of you remember my design i made for my betta Prince ? well sadly Prince had a tragic filter accident, and didnt make it :rip:

But i have a rescue betta who i saved from my lfs, where he had no fins! (who I have named him Fyn)

Anyway, The design i made didnt really work out that well, but after all weekend of redoing everything, and making sure that it was just how i wanted it, and then snapping away with the camera, i have pix of it, and have it just how i wanted it!

So let me know wot u all think of it!

Sorry abt all the posts, but i dnt no how to upload more than 1 pic per post! If some1 else knows how to, cud they let me know how to, so i know for future reference.

Im hoping on getting this tank established enough to put a betta in each side by the end of the week. As ive seen this amazing purple betta at my lfs!

as much as i dislike bettas, them tank look really cool!!! a betta would look brilliant in that, good work!!

Are the two tanks hooked together with that tube-thing?? I've never seen a tank like that -- what kind (brand-name) is it??

Hiya mandi, thanx, yes the two tanks are joined together with the tubes, but what i have done is stuffed them with a round sponge, as a divider, but their both use the same water, have their own heaters, own under gravel filter system, and lights.

im not really sure what make the tank is, as it was my boyfriends old tank, and he got it at cash converters years ago!

Its been a great project to work on, as it needed cleaning up, new filter system, gravel, plants and ornaments, and i needed to seal the cracks in the tunnels, but my dads been a star with all the glueing and sealing the cracks!

Im planning on having my male Fyn, who is a rescue case in the blue side, as hes red, and a puple and pink betta, who ive spotted at the lfs, in the other side, with the pink stones.

Thanx! ive been really lucky with the pix, my mum n dad just got the new Konica minolta Dimage G600 digital camera, and my bf has been teaching me how 2 get great pix out of it, using the macro, and auto flash! and how to stand or sit to get the best pix! how lucky am i ? a bf whos great with all things digital, and who gave me the tank, and a dad who helped fix it up with all the cracks and leaks with special aquaruim silicone!

Why do you dislike bettas?

their the 1 fish that was purely made to give pleasure to its admirerers!
