I feel mine 5 of the bio-gold pellets every day except wednesdays when he has bloodworms... But thats probably wrong! :D

Faith on bettatalk.com suggests feeding once a day, as much as they can eat within 2 minutes, and to skip feeding one day a week.

If you're new to bettas, check out bettatalk.com, there's a ton of info over there and answers to just about any question you can think of... as well as many you probably didn't know to ask! :D

hmmm.... On of my bettas could and would eat a whol packet of betta bio-gold in two minutes.

 I feed mine once a day - a pellet at a time until they show no interest in the food. They are ready to eat when it's time. Now I have a black worm batch which I am trying to use as a culture on a trial basis right now. They'll get those a couple times a week but at this point I am not sure just how many each one will get. I did it mainly to help build them up thru the ich infection - courtesy of my local pet store.

i usually feed him three times a day but very little

morining-Betta food

Evening-Bloodworms

Night-Betta food

Being new to his tank, he might not eat for a few days.

Variety is a good thing. Many times a day (3 actually). Reason: fast metabolism. Small amounts, mind you, even if he swims up to the glass begging for more. :D

iight thanx for the help.

I've heard that bettas like bloodworms, are bloodworms really god for them or something?
btw- my betta food has bloodworms in it

Agree with CC on the bloodworms. In fact Jack tends to spit out every other type of Betta food I've tried him on except freeze dried bloodworms. Picky picky!

Okayyy....Jack just gulped down two fresh pea halves. So he likes veggies too. They were supposed to be for the snails!
