Well, these guys are really hard to get pictures of as they are so active, but at least now they are big enough to catch on film! They were only babies when I got them (both smaller than 1"). They are growing up nicely now though and today I managed to get the best pictures of them since I've got them!

Boy those guys are cute!
I have often thought of getting one, but my bottom feeders list is good enough!
Awesome pics, they are hard to get! :kewlpics:

Great patterns! I love cats!

Great pics! I agree, it's difficult taking pics of cats because they're so active...

WOW, ben, those are great I really want some for my tank but am haveing trouble finding the right size of them for the right price

These were £8 each which was a good price and they were only tiny when I got them (1" or so).

Thanks for the comments and nominations guys. When we have a August or September Noms thread I will add them to that but I sure aint adding them to Julys lol.

They will eventually grow to significant size - over 6 inches I believe. Is yours a jumper by any chance? I've read that many people lost their Syn. Multipunctatus when they jumped out of their tanks. Many of them had to tightly cover every hole on the cover!

I was going to get some for my mbuna tank, but I am reconsidering because of this reason... -_-

Hiya Ben,

:kewlpics:

I have 4 of those lil buggers, mine too were just shy of an inch when I bought them! I lost some of them :( They are now just over 2 inches and growing!! They do not grow as fast as my Synodontis multis, but are just as cute!

The petricola's reach about 3.5 to 4 inches in size! The multi's reach about 4 to5 inches! They are sometimes referred to as dwarf catfish!

Some more info about them:

(I had the exact link, but their servers are being funny!:)))

P.S. Here are pics of some of my tanks!!!

Looks like you have some nice tanks there, I particularly like the shell dwellers.

yhbae they arent Multipunctatus. As Angjo72 said they are a dwarf catfish and havent been known to grow larger than 5 inches in the wild, So i guess about 4" in a tank. I havent seen them go very near the surface of the tank, they are firmly bottom dwellers and love racing around my rocks on every surface against each other.
