I have decided to rationalise my tanks and downgrade to just two. I'll be keeping the 200l, previously known as the SA community tank and the Flex 15 which was known as the Lake Inle nano.
I need the space in my study and also need to relocate the 200l there as the floor in its current location needs to be placed following a flooding incident - not fish tank related . Ironically I downgraded my 450l to the 200 back in 2016 when I had the floor replaced .
Today I took down the Office Space tank. Its my newest and probably fave tank but it stands on my desk which is really awkward. It was a Covid lockdown project started in 2020. I have now moved the ember tetras into the Flex which has been home to a load of neos. For those who remember it the CPD school eventually died off. The colony started in 2016 as red rilis but today most are almost clear. They seem a lot more active and are hiding less now that they have fish for company - but it may just be that I upped the temp from 22 to 25. Still love the shape (30x30x90cm) but I have nowhere for it to go.
Next to go will be Thai Wonder. This was an emergency purchase when my Sids matured and started shredding the fins of some of the tetras in the community tank. Unfortunately I lost the Sids some time ago and its currently home to 9 lambchop rasboras and a female bristlenose. I bought her as a potential mate for my 19 year old BN in the community tank but sadly he died of old age while she was in here as a QT, so she stayed on. They can easily be accommodated in the community tank. I may even add a male BN (or a pair) as she is doing a great job on the glass. This tank quite literally never gets cleaned - but of course I do change the water regularly. I did think of moving the fish from the big tank into here so that I could move it and completely redo it. But I suspect at 60l this tank is too small to cope with the additional load for more than a day or 2.

Might get around to more pics once everyone is settled and the tanks have grown in.
