One of my favorite fish genera is Gambusia. And one of my new favorite fish I've discovered is the Mangrove Gambusia. They like our regular mosquito fish but brackish and full-on tropical from the deep south of Florida. What's most amazing about them is their striking blue eyes and green dorsal fins. See for yourself!

I do like the body shape better than those from other Gambusia species. As most members overhere already know, I'm a huge fan of wild livebearer species. This is also why most of my livebearers at my place are wild species.

They are very adaptable. Freshwater to quite brackish water. I found them wading (snorkeling) in a stream in Belize. A great place to see them in Florida is just south of Marathon in the mangroves.
I just edited this: Marathon not Marco age thing...
