Honey gourami sick

Hello guys,

My gourami is just hanging there. The poop just stays there and seems a bit white.

Based on the stickies it seems like the bacterial infection.

Ammonia, nitrates or nitrites.

Is the fish eating normally?
How long has it had stringy white poop?
Is it swimming around normally?
How long has it been acting unwell?

If a fish gets fat overnight, does a stringy white poop and stops eating, it has an internal bacterial infection and the fish usually dies within 24-48 hours of showing these symptoms. There's no cure and the fish get euthanised.

If it's still eating but not as much as usual, then it's an internal protozoan infection and that can sometimes be treated with Metronidazole.

Yeah i saw your link and another post from you.

The poop was there for a while, at least over an hour. But it has lost it now and moved from the spot.

Still hanging at the top in a different place. Didnt come over for food.

All others act normal.

Edit:

It moves some more now. Seems better than before. Yesterday she was at that spot from this morning. But now she moved around a bit at the front of the tank. Not as close to the top as before.

Her belly seems kinda fatter? Not sure. These always have a bit more fat there.
