It's space...
While I look like an oddball on social media.
I gladly crawl every steps to understand things and gladly will report exactly what I Witnessed doing so.
This shrimp is more than 8 months old, and has a whole 5 gallons filled with algae, to him alone I only supplemented it's diet with calcium food and tried to feed as less as possible. Anyway he always goes for the natural stuff he can forage far before the rest. The food I added has to be fungus development tested and approved, by me... What I used endured a week or was consumed first. I tried A couple ones. And there's not many qualifying for that. The shrimp can take days to find it and will never eat all of it.
I have another witness tank running with 12-18 shrimps that I nearly only supplement too , and this one is filled with bladder snails in addition. The filter is filled with both shrimps and snails Every time I add food they find it in minutes and stick to it a lot more. but they leave a lot. What I like. You can see these crazy thing entering the output and try swimming up (down) to the impeller.
And I have this shrimp tank that I feed like there's no tomorrow and everything is consumed fast enough, multiple times a day.
The next step is to... Anyway The more you feed them the more they are going to breed small and faster.
At the moment there's multiple couple swimming around on "top of each other" and that means they are mating soon... but there's not enough hiding places to do it... Because you should never see that happen. loll.
