I don't think that fish need plants and gravel. I still give mine some though. Anyways, those tanks are overally stuffed with decorative materials, is all I meant. If the gravel was much thinner, and just a few plants, it would give a ton more space to the fish.

That one is probably less than a 1/4 of a gallon but I couldn't say for sure as I've never seen one in person.

Nope not even fry. Nothing can live in there happily. There isn't filtration or heat, which fry need, and there isn't space for an adult fish. Sad.

psgill.might of been right.cause i went to an pet store today.most where a fourth of an gallon.but 1 was 1 and a half gallons.but it was 90 dollars

They May Look Cruel, But There are Some that are Very Spacious. Those are a Bad Example of them.

Tiny Tanks
These I have Seen In Person and they are Big.
5 Inches Wide and 10-15 Inches High.

The Ones Posted are not big Enough For a Betta.
well I dont like that site you posted at all after I read this in there care and maintenance page for bettas:

"Bettas can be safely kept in these small bowls and containers for many reasons. They have a relatively slow metabolism and are not very active. They are typically slow swimmers and do not mix well with many of the quick tropical fish which are kept in large aquariums. Since they are not active, the small environment is not detrimental to the Betta's health. In fact, it is much safer to keep them singularly in these small bowls and Tiny Tanks than in tropical community aquariums. Bettas are incredibly adaptable to water conditions, which is another great reason to keep them in small bowls."

they obviously dont know what they are talking about if they say bettas are inactive and should be kept in small spaces, all my bettas are very active and enjoy all the space they have.

they continue to mislead uneducated people by saying

"Bettas do not require much maintenance in order to be happy and healthy."
even though its true its not hard to care for them, by saying that people think its ok to just plop em in a cup and theyll be fine.

blahh :/ how can you have a proffesional site dedicated to the care of one creature and not even put the proper information on it to educate people, I hate sites like this.

(Sorry if I hijacked this post :*) )

i aw those at a petco and read the boxes, i found 2 that were a gollon and sum more that were only 1/2g i think in a 1/2g a betta could survive sumwat comfortably but it would need to be cleaned good often, and have the plants and rocks removed.
