I got some ramshorn snails yesterday and acclimated them. They are NOT thriving and I’m very concerned. The tank would be considered a fish paradise with plenty of plants, some algae, no aggressive fish, and is self sufficient and sustaining.

2.5 gallon heavily planted walstad tank.

Water parameters

Ammonia 0
Nitrites 0
Nitrates 0
GH 180
PH 8

Other inhabitants one betta.

Hello. Rams Horn snails thrive in tanks that are generally overfed. If you're not seeing any snails, this means you're feeding your fish just about right. The fish are eating all the food and there's nothing left for the snails.

They are probably just stressed from being moved recently. Give them a week and see how they go.

You could contact whoever you got them from and find out what the temperature and pH of their water is and compare it to yours.
