The original background was too dark, that has been replaced with a much lighter picture of a bamboo forest, I’ve always had quite a few pieces of Lucky Bamboo, and the tank will still have several, & with the addition of 2 more varieties… some 24 inch tall emergent stalks of “hydra lotus bamboo, and in the hanging pots around the top of the tank I will add at least a couple of them with a green mini hedge bamboo, also adding an Aufwuchs builder, in preparation for some rarer Hillstream loaches that I signed up for notifications, when they come in… I’m going to the clamp style holders, to eliminate the ventilated pots I currently have stalks in, in the center of the tank, allowing more space for the school of adult Tin Foils, and Denison barbs…
Pictures will be a few weeks out, so I have time to make some of the changes
In my South American tank I have lots of colorful tetras and other smaller fish, but there is something even more pleasing about a school of 6-8 inch Tin Foils, and a school of adult Denison’s, with all the little Hillstream’s on the glass around the outside, and the playful antics of the Panda Garra’s, that are about half grown right now…
