I’ve had this Senegal for about 2 and a half months. She shares a tank with a delhezi (about 6”) and an ansorgii (about 3”). I’ve noticed her stomach getting a little bloated , I thought it was from over eating. I woke up this morning after not feeding them last night and it seems to have gotten worse. She is acting normal and still tries to eat. I’ll try to get a better picture if I can when she’s not in a plant.

Hello. It's not unusual for fish to experience digestion problems. Have you ever fed your fish "Spirulina"? It helps with digestion and provides nutrients and helps the body get rid of toxins which could be the cause of the bloating.

I haven’t I was hoping someone would suggest something , I will definitely give that a try thank you!

Bumping this up because I went camping over the weekend , my buddy came and fed my bichir just 1 pellet each ( they usually eat 3-4) I came home and she was bloated again , I’m starting to worry it’s dropsy.
