I'm not sure what you are asking here?

cheers that great.

ah they don't have a 30" tube in those lights :/ I suppose I could get 2 of the 24W ones and have them laid out like...

|________---------|
|-------- ________|

My lighting unit says it takes 25w-30w 1" dia and (30"-36" lamp) so I'm not sure if it would work :( think i'll have to see what else he can get for me, I tried a full 3ft tube in my hood but it wouldn't fit

lol, i'm trying to get a good set of tubesto help my plants grow nicely, check out my tank, i'm about to post some pictures, nicely planted and everything!!

here is the PDF

you'll see in the catalog OSRAM recomend the biolux for plant growth, but the biolux cost much more than the 6000K daylight lights that works great..

I used the daylight with success, and in South Africa.. a coolwhite ( cheap light ) cost R9.50 - 20W and a daylight tube is R24.99 - 20W but the biolux is R85.00 - 20W.. Hagen Sunglow is R210.00 - 20W

Silly me said:
The 55W light is only 53 cm long and 3 foot = 90 cm
I'm confused now!! :S

Surely if my light power unit is only rated to 30W thats the max power tube I can run in it right? so unless they have a 30w 34" or slightly less tube I'll have to go about finding something else.

I'm currently printing the PDF file off it was too messy to look at it on there!!.

what power units have you got to run the tubes?
