What are the chances they breed true?
That hybrid strain tends to breed true from what I've seen. @emeraldking would be the one to let us know, as I have never bred fancy molly types to be 100% sure. But I see a lot of them in stores, so they should be a set colour form.
As already mentioned, this is a golden lyretail male molly. This breeding form breeds true. But sometimes it happens that fry develop with some black spots or patches. But in general, it breeds true.
How about gold sailfin mollies?
This strain should breed true as well. It's an established strain for many decades now. But depending on what type of female molooy you would cross him to, the outcome of the offspring can be totally different of course.
The albino trait will only be passed on to the offspring when he'llbe crossed to an albino female or a black eyed female which carries the albino trait recessively.

The male and female arrived by mail order as a pair. The female gave birth on the first day of arrival. But your point is well taken. Probably a different father.

Linda has chosen the 75. She wants to save the extra 6 inch width. Why? I do not know.
She also ordered the 40 breeder with two panels.
She wants to breed her own Molly for the 75. I just shrug my shoulders at this point.
