One of my CPD has developed a lump behind his cheek. He has always been the runt of the litter. Is this a tumor?

need better pictures.
how long has it had the lump?
Not certain I can get a better picture, but I’ll try. I was away for a week. The lump was not present seven days ago.

I've seen a lot of fish, but that growth is a new one to me.

Once or twice I have seen parasitic larvae under skin, but not often enough to be able to guess. It isn't tb. I think a tumour is possible, but so is a cyst.

If it appeared in a week, it's not a tumour but more likely a cyst. There's no cure for either so I would probably euthanise it, especially if it's not eating properly.

Should I quarantine him? He has lost color but moves and feeds well.
I think if he moves and feeds alright, and isn't exhibiting any other symptoms other than some color loss, then you may just be able to leave him be. To my knowledge, growths like that one aren't contagious. So, I would say monitor him closely and if/when he shows other symptoms or starts to have trouble eating and swimming, then euthanize.

The tumor or cyst grew larger overnight. Looks like it may burst. I euthanized the little guy with clove oil. If I had a microscope I would perform a postmortem.
