Every once in a great while one of my aquariums is actually not bad . This is one such time . No algae , plants are growing and all is well . A marked difference from my usual plant less scummy ones .

I have before but no soap . This is a ten gallon so if this aquarium doesn‘t go kablooey on me by the time you’re doing that size again I will definitely throw my hat in the ring again . Oh , and by the way , all you readers of this thread - ALL of you should enter the contests that our Contest Czar , Fishmanic , runs . This is unique to The Great TFF Forum and a chance to show off your hard work and skills in aquarium and fish keeping .

I keep old coins I find . Paper bills never last with me .
They do eyeball them .
A bribe is nice and all, but sometimes you need a threat to really keep everyone in line. Whether a snail will take a fish hook seriously is up for debate thoughA fish-hook is a little disturbing thing to see in front of an Aquarium

As you can see in my sig pic, I have an Asian Fisherman ornament in my tank. There is a "fish" hooked on his line. The other fish know if they act up and do anything wrong, they could be next.

Oh , believe you me , I have plenty of them . I collect aquarium thermometers . They’re all cheap ones and I use two because I don’t think they’re all that accurate . I average the temperature between the two . But come to think of it , you’re right , I’ll stick another one in there .
