Chequered barbs don't seem to be as popular these days, mine spawned a few days ago the fry are so tiny

Such a cool little fish. I've never kept them but they're definitely on my radar for the future.

Love barbs kept a fair few species but not the Chequered as of yet. Very nice

There are so many nice barbs like that, but they've become an underappreciated group of fish. A lot of species we used to see regularly have dropped out of sight.

I always had barbs and rasboras, classic, fish shaped fish. A bit of a fan.
