Looks great overthere... No, wonder it attracts frogs.
Once during summer a group of toads found there way to my pond in the backyard. In the beginning I thought it was nice. But they became very loud during the nights. Me and my closest neighbors couldn't sleep because of that. So, I had to catch them all which took me a long time. And brought them to a far distant pond by car. And I was hoping that it was far enough to keep them away from my own pond.

Wow! I've only ever had them make noise while mating in the pond which is typically at night but doesn't happen that often. They don't typically hang out at the pond after. I do have cats that run around outside so probably has something to do with it.

I don't mind the frogs we have overhere but those toads are hell...

Oh, toads. Yeah I don't see those here really. Wait, just had to check myself. So these are toads in my pond. But they are the smaller kind. I want to say that they are Texas Toads.

We have those big toads. And they're loud at night.

Here in south Florida we have Bufo toads which are poisonous to dogs. We do have one cute bright green frog with big eyes hanging around our pond that I call Gollum.

Love that ! There is absolutely nothing else that brings a bigger smile to my face than a frog on a lily pad . Just something very cool about it. When I croak I’m going to come back as a frog on a lily pad .
I did have a water lilly in it last summer but it is way too big for this small pond. This plant is a water poppy and is perfect for this size of pond. Got my first flower today!

@Ram419 I used to have an outdoor pond about 20 years ago and I had water lilies and if I remember right there were smaller leafed varieties but it looks like you would know more about that . So cool when you get a flower . I like the hornwort you have in there . I bet you have to thin it a lot .
