I found these very tiny microscopic things floating around in my water. They’re smaller than the tiny bubbles that float around. I’m not sure how I even spotted them. I’m not sure if they’re harmful, but I was wondering if anybody has ever had these before. They’re not copepods, I’ve had those before. I’ve manages to syringe a good amount of them up to look at them closer. When they swim they wiggle.

Wow don’t know how you spotted them either lol. I am not sure what they are because I can’t see them. I would recommend doing a large water change to help get some of them out. Do you feed your fish any live food? Are your fish looking healthy? What fish do you have in this tank?

It’s a 29 gallon with two young paradise gourami females. They aren’t fed any live food. They’re still acting the same as they always been

Ok I was thinking that maybe some live food could have reproduced or it could be some kind of parasite. I don’t think that it is either if your fish are acting normal. I would just do a large water change and see what happens.
