Help!!

Hello! I know I haven't been on for a while, but MY tank FINALLY CYCLED!! It took me around 4 months, which was really long for me. Today, I bought in 2 young Fantail Goldfish for my 30 gallon tank However, there were a few concerns for me First, the only food I have right now are pellets, but they don't seem like they want to eat it. I'm not sure if the food is too big, or they don't like it. I know they are VERY hungry though, since they started eating everything and spitting it out and look like they'll die if they don't eat something. I'm not sure what to do with their food problem. Any thing I could do? Also, any health issues you may see? I got them from a local pet store, and these were the best and healthiest I could find

Dandelion leaves are not bad fish food as long as they don’t have anything harmful on them like weed killer or pesticides. I think you could feed your goldfish with them at least temporarily.

Thanks! I will try that out. However, In my area we don't have as many access to Dandelion leaves so I'll have to deal with that

Goldfish, like most fish, chew by dragging food across rows of teeth in the mouth and throat. As they rasp many foods, they have to spit it out and pull it back in, over and over, if it is a dry pellet. Each time, they scrape off some nutrition.

Thank you! No wonder why the pellets I fed Last Night were gone by today
