Over the past few weeks, my dwarf gourami has faded in color and became a little lethargic. I have been trying to figure out what was wrong with him for weeks, originally thinking he had Ick due to the prominent white spot on his fin, but nothing changed. Recently, I have used a general parasite powder medication and it seems to have helped somewhat. He acts, swims, and eats normally but still has slightly faded colors (but not nearly as bad as it was before treatment). Is he still sick or is this normal (I think he might have dgd)??

I'm not the best fish doctor on this forum. But try not to treat ailments you aren't sure he has-sometimes the treatments can cause more damage. Is he separated from your other fish? I would do a quarantine tank and a salt treatment (since salt can hurt the plants, won't do much damage to him, and you don't want other fish catching it)

Hopefully you'll get a more experienced fish doctor to comment
