Hello,
I recently noticed one of my juvenile green tiger barbs flashing on/off. They have damage to their fins which I assumed was secondary to the flashing. I treated the tank with a 33% water change and aquarium salt. They seemed to be doing alright and I haven’t noticed any flashing, but they’ve developed a whitish growth along their tail today. I did recently lose a different juvenile barb due to some severe bullying; they had developed a similar growth before passing. The tank was treated afterwards as well. I can do another water change, but wasn’t sure if other treatment would be advised.

They are kept in a 55 gallon tank with artificial plants, a spider wood, and rock cave. The water parameters have been okay, nitrates are a bit high. Ph=7.4 Ammonia=0 Nitrites=0 Nitrates=30. Tank mates include 2 adults and 1 juvenile green tiger barb, 1 common angel fish, 1 opaline gourami, 1 rainbow shark, and 1 albino bristlenose pleco.

I tried to get pictures, but they did not come out great.
