This is a journal for my 20g high planted community.
The current stock is:
8 Neons
2 Red Eyes
4 Cherry Barbs
3 Assassin Snails.
I know. Bad stocking. Not enough of some and the red eyes shouldn't even be in there.
Current Plants:
Frog bit(regular and tiger striped)
Java fern
Moneywort
Amazon Swords
Dwarf Sagittaria
Cabomba Caroliniana thats doing awful.

Apologies for the bad picture + reflection.

Definitely not where I want the tank. Trying to sort out problems with the plants.
This leaves a lot of room for improvement.

Are there any updates to this by any chance?

Nah no updates.
Still looking the same.
I did add 20 nerites into it before they sold and they had the tank free of algae in24 hours.
I've got some ideas for this tank floating around in my head. Not set on anything yet.

Bit of an update.
This tank is going to have complete replanting.
I ordered a bunch of swords, some crypts, and a large piece of Malaysian driftwood.
I wanted to add more substrate, so I figured I might as well replant as well.
They are arriving on Saturday, so more updates coming later!

Sometimes when you have more than one fast growing plant, like the frogbit and cabomba, one of them outcompetes the other for the nutrients in the water. I had water wisteria in mine and it was growing like crazy. After I added salvinia minima, the wisteria crashed.

Thats a very good point. I guess in that case, I would have to add more fertilizer slowly and see what happens...

You always do a rescape or replanting 🙄😂😂 (joking, it keeps you busy which is good and you'realso really good at it, I guess I'd just caution against it only cause it may keep stressing the fish out a bit)
