Probably not, but that would be because of stunting. You really need to make sure you can accomodate this fish at it's largest. One of my lfs's has one in a 2000 gallon display tank and it's still not really roomy enough.shawy said:I dont think it will get that big in an aquarium
Given a good diet and water quallity there is no reason why your catfish wont reach its maximum size, as said the only reason for it not to grow to full potential is stunting due to incorrect care, which will not only keep the fish smaller but will also seriously shorten its life span, a large fish like this should live for 20+ years.shawy said:I dont think it will get that big in an aquarium
