How do i plant this pearl weed back? :(

I keep trying to plant this pearl weed but it keeps floating, any suggestions?
(I know i should trim my plants, I've just been busy with finals !)

Your substrate is pretty thin. That can be a problem for plants until their roots get established.

You could use non-toxic weights on the plant to keep it on the substrate until the roots establish.
