For the first time, I managed to get a picture of a swordtail baby that you can actually see it reasonably well (by the plant pot, orange stands out nicely against the black). I always love it when I find the little things. Only seeing the one so far, but they do tend to be good at hiding, so I'll just have to wait and see if I find more. All of my females are rather young right now, so smaller batches aren't surprising.

Now, to see if i can catch it and move it to the net thing...

I never get bored seeing fry...
 
Seeing all these posts with Swordtails recently. Seems like they are coming into vogue again. Your fry is great, they are hard to photograph.

I noticed a red algae in the tank. Is that typical?, I haven't seen that in a freshwater tank. Is it hard to keep under control. Makes the substrate look more interesting.

I have no idea what it is. I actually have a thread started asking. It spreads, but not too fast. Here is a rock with a lot on one side. I flipped it over a few weeks ago, so the cleaner side hasn't been exposed very long.
