I really like aquarium shrimp, I've kept Neocaridinas, bamboos, vampires, and amanos in the past...currently, just have Neos and a single amano

Let's see some of your shrimp pics...here's a few of mine

First pic, 10G tank....try to ignore the multitudes of MTS, lol
Second pic, 29G...with a couple of black phantom tetras and Blondie the pleco photobombing

Not an awesome pic, but the best can do.
I got 15 shrimp about a month ago, and they've settled into my 10 gal nicely. They're ancestors were probably Blue dreams, but these are mix of bright blue, dark blue, black, and one of two brown. They're so much fun to watch!

I think I sometimes spend more hours watching my shrimp than I do my fish...I keep a magnifying glass near each of my tanks with shrimp

Slaphppy7, I like your shrimp pics, especially the one from your daughter’s room a year ago. Very nice! I’ve thought about keeping other types but so far just neos for me. I’m new to shrimp keeping (March 2022). I bought 8 for a 5 gallon and have counted over 40 in there now. I also spend the majority of my aquarium watching time with my shrimp tank, but the other two tanks (30g and 38g) get my daily attention also. While I don’t have a magnifying glass nearby I have been researching macro lens for my phone as I do enjoy photography too.

Morganna, you have a beautiful blue shrimp too.

Here’s a pic of my little tank after I removed a TON of hornwort which made it too hard to see what was going on in the tank. I’ve got the hornwort growing in a Tupperware container under a grow light now. I will be adding an air stone in the next day or two also. Also adding some pics of my shrimp. The very last pic is of my only one-eyed shrimp, taken from her blind side (not the best of pics though, I know). Just wait until I get my macro lens.

I have posted these before but these are our giant shrimp (two of them - we have four)

"Vampire" shrimp, Atya gabonensis?

They are fun to keep...the first time mine molted, I had a small panic attack, I thought it had died when I found the molt, lol
