Would someone help with these colours please?
Do you agree that they are 6.6, 6.8 and 7.6?

I think the middle photo is closer to 7.2 than 6.8, there is too much blue over green.

Since #3 is the highest colour on the chart it could be 7.6 or over 7.6. The way to make sure is to test with the high range tester as well.

Thanks everyone.

Sample 2 is the one I have problem with as it falls between 6.8 and 7.2, but in the scheme of things it wouldn’t matter as most tropical fish are OK within that range. This is water from my tropical tank.

@Essjay, @Steve2717, here’s sample 3 in high and low range (water from cichlid tank). What do you make of it? I don’t like the high range much as the colour of 7.4 is pretty much the same as 7.8

why I quit buying low range and high range pH kits, the Wide Range pH is easier to read and seems to be just as accurate

Thanks. I'll see if the Wide Range pH is available here. My high and low range pH came in the package with Ammonia, Nitrite & Nitrate though.

It looks like 7.4 in high range IMO.
