Sick Betta

Hello!! I left my betta at home for 5 days cause I went on vacation and when I came back he had lost his color and had stress marks. To me he seems to be pine coning a bit as well. I have performed 2 water changes 50% each, in 2 days but he is still pale. I ordered bakto tabs to treat but I want to know if there is anything else I can do. Thank you!!

Sorry about your betta, he seems very stressed out.
Were you able to test your water for toxines? Ammonia, nitrites, nitrates?
Is your beneficial bacteria well and established? Is there a filter in the tank?

Let's hope he recovers soon!

Hey!! I tested only the ph which was 7. There is a filter. Now, few hours later, his color is better. Maybe he was shocked because he was not fed for 5 days? I will do another water change tomorrow
