Every now and then I try one of those "needs Co2" type plants. This might be one of them. I have to ask- do they come in a dwarf size? Because my clump is ultra small and very deep glossy green. Not like the C. parva I remember of years ago. That was not nearly as dark green or small. Still small so that gives an idea of my plants size.
It could be leaves are nibbled and so that's keeping it small.
What do you think?

i think all plants don't require co2, they just grow slow because of how small they are or how "not green" they are... idk
with co2 they can boost a bit
some photos maybe look like they have been grown emersed, perhaps it is still new and needs to grow water leaves

no they don't come in a dwarf form

no they don't need supplemental CO2.

if it's small, it is probably young and needs time to grow.

Just fish poo and natural light

I don't really think that Crypts need Co2 - I've found they grow better in low tech set ups. Slow either way but bigger and bushier in low tech.

Different plant companies produce different strains of the plants you can see differences between Tropica and Denerle so it could be the case that the plants you are remembering were from a different nursery?
