I am seriously confused. My tank had one angelfish, blue Acaras and a Severum in but I have recently rehomed everything but the Angel so it has been alone for the past week. It has been the only Angelfish I’ve ever had and I have had it around 5 months. Anyway I just looked in the tank and there are eggs all over my driftwood! What is going on? The only other occupants and Cardinal tetras. I am so confused

BEAUTIFUL angelfish!!I guess it is female and just had eggs (unfertile)...?

She is in good condition and happy and wanted to breed. No males were available so she just laid the eggs. You need to get her a boyfriend.

Has anyone seen the video? Looks to me like a male and female because she is letting one other Angelfish guard the eggs with her and they are both chasing everyone else away?

Ah apologies, wrong thread. Please check my last thread. I believe she has a partner now

Most of the eggs are not fertilized (the white ones) but quite a few look fertlized (the translucent ones). It normally take them 3 to 6 tries to get it right but if they are by themselves there is a better chance.
