I just got back from the LFS and I made my own rock figure for my Danios to swim through. I bought the slate for $1.99/pound and it was like a half pound. It looks pretty good too.

Looks good! Just make sure it doesnt fall over and squash your fish! Make sure you dig the slate into the gravel so that there is much less chance of this happening.

I dug the slate so far into the gravel that it touches the bottom, through 3/4" of gravel, but thanx for your concern.

I'm thinking about adding more slate, but maybe it might be too much slate, what does everyone think?

why does ur water look so murky and cloudy u should try a diatom filter in there temporairily man those things work awsome!!

It's not murky, really, it's just that I have an older Digital Camera. sry

i think that some more slate would do you tank nicely.
