Help me gender by fry?

Hello! I’ve got two fry right now where I’m not 100% certain about their gender. I think they might be boys but could y’all double check?
1st one:

no gravid spot and even though his anal fin is a bit triangular o think this one is a male.

2nd one:

This one has a pretty triangular anal fin but again, no gravid spot to be seen. So male?

I would say the first is female for sure, but I'm not totally sure on the second. Pretty round for a male, but might just be a fat one.

They were over fed this morning

I forgot that I took my Cory catfish out of this tank and by the time I realized it was while distributing the food my guppies had already eaten it all.

I’m not gonna feed them tomorrow so I’ll try and get pictures with their smaller tummies

You can see the gravid spot on the less colorful on in the back. That one is female for sure

Both are males. No doubts!

If you would put all these guppies in one tank, the male/female ratio is of no importance. The trick is that in a larger group, males get also distracted by the other males which won't make them chase those females too much.

Challenge time!!! This is my precious baby Tilde Nemo Swinton, and they are a permanent fixture of my fry tank, they are probably around 5 months old now, but they grow at an absolute crawl. They’ve actually gotten bigger these last couple weeks so now i figured I’d try and gender them. Still won’t put them into the adult tanks because they’re still way too small and have been outgrown by several generations of fry.

I’ve only had one other guppy born with a crooked back, and even though he grew up slow, he’s now just as big as the rest of the adults. Tilde is growing much slower…. But their back is also worse. The other one just looked like a V rather that a ~.

Update: I think Tilde is female. She’s hit a growth spurt so hopefully I’ll be able to tell with confidence soon.

Not all guppies of the same batch will have the same growth potential. That's pretty normal. Bended or curved spines as newborn fry do happen as well in guppy lines that are healthy. But bad genetics are mostly the reason why this happens. Bad genetics can occur when it's a bad line anyways. But also when there has been too much inbreeding for too long. But in that case, you should have more specimens with such a crooked spine. So, I assume that it's just bad genetics that have been passed through. But in general, such fish will eat and swim normal. They have the similar lifespan as a healthy specimen. But of course, not fit to use for reproduction. If you do use them for reproduction, doesn't mean that all fry wil have spine issues. Just a part of the offspring. So yes, such fish can also reproduce normal shaped offspring. But you do keep the wrong genetics alive.

Y’allllllllll I think I have about 200 guppies now but the ratio to female fry born verses male fry is still at least 3:1. Someone mentioned that water temperature could affect the gender ratio. I keep my tanks at 78°, but what temp could balance this ratio? I am making plans to sell at least half my female fry soon. Just trying to figure out the best/most ethical way to transport them? Should I buy those plastic bags that fish stores use? I don’t have an oxygen tank to make the bag super stiff and give them lots of air.

Get a couple of 20 litre buckets and half fill them with tank water. Put some fish in each bucket.

Use a battery operated air pump to blow bubbles into the buckets so the fish have plenty of oxygen while they are in transit.

Latest batch of fry look 100% identical to their mother and I’m really struggling to gender them. I just wanna make doubly sure. Is this one male? I think it’s male because 1. No visible gravid spot but the mother has a pretty light colored gravid spot. I have, however, seen what looks to definitely be gravid spots on a couple of them but not in this one. 2) longer anal fin and 3) I’ve noticed a lot of female guppies have a dark line like beneath their spine but above the little white pouch that contains their organs and this guppy doesn’t have that. This line:

cant tell anything in curved plastic with an opaque appearance

when they are mature, look at the anal (bottom) fin. Males have a long thin straight anal fin called a gonopodium.
Females have a fan or triangle shaped anal fin
